Brett contacted me back in early November of 2016. Typically, when I get calls from the “men”, I know what they have in mind! He had a ring ready and plans to take his soon-to-be-fiance away for a weekend at the beach. My schedule was fairly tight, as I would be in Panama, Central America shooting a wedding during the time he would be in town. But there was no way I was going to miss his big moment, so the shuffling of schedules began!

Lakin showed up to the session and had no idea I was hanging out on the beach waiting for them. Brett took her on a walk down along the water and positioned himself perfectly for me to capture her reaction. As you can see, she was pleasantly surprised!!!

I can’t wait to see what the future holds for Mr. and (soon-to-be) Mrs. Brett Gordon. Thank you for trusting me and allowing me to be part of your special day <3
